EO Metterdaad
Cooperation with EO-Metterdaad
In 2006 EO-Metterdaad signed a contract with Kerk in Actie, EZA
(Evangelical Missionary Alliance) and Prisma. These three
(umbrella[1]) organizations represent a vast
part of the Dutch Christian organizations active in relief and
rehabilitation.
The collaboration between EO Metterdaad and the three
organizations connects knowledge and relationships of Christian aid
and mission to the media expertise of the EO and vice versa. The
main goal of this collaboration is fundraising, information
exchange and awareness raising.
Each week the TV-program Nederland Helpt broadcasts an aid
project that is related to one of the three organizations. The
funds that are raised will be transferred to the involved
organizations and to the partners.
Selection of the TV-media project
Dutch organizations can hand in proposals for a TV media project
through their (umbrella) organization. A proposal format is
available and can be downloaded from the Prisma library. EO
Metterdaad will assess this proposal having as main criteria its
appropriateness for broadcasting. Once approved Prisma will assess
the quality of the project on basis of a more detailed project
proposal submitted by the applicant.
Application of proposals for funding
Part of the funds will go directly to the broadcasted project.
Another part will be spent on projects with similar objectives and
in similar regions as the broadcasted project. These projects have
to match with the theme and objectives of the broadcasted project.
In addition, these projects need to work in the same region as the
broadcasted project.
Current projects are only presented on the Dutch part of this
website. All applications need to be channeled through the Dutch
counterpart. EO Metterdaad accepts no other forms of
application.

organizations. Kerk in Actie is an independent Christian NGO linked
