Conference Eastern Europe 2024
The CPOE cordially invites you to the Eastern Europe Conference! Almost seven years after the last conference, we think it’s time to come together again. The conference is intended as a place of meeting, exchange and inspiration for all CPOE participants and their local partner organisations.
Goals and themes
With the conference we want to inspire organisations and churches that are committed to helping people in vulnerable situations in Central and Eastern Europe. We take time to learn, reflect and exchange experiences. We want to focus on strengthening cooperation in which equality and reciprocity are important. Through speakers, workshops and interaction, we will think about how to increase our network and impact. This includes the following themes:
- Preventing human trafficking
- Mental health
- Roma inclusion
- Local resource mobilisation
- Economic development
We offer stories of hope and faith that will inspire. We hope to conclude the conference with joint actions for the future. Of course, there will be plenty of time to network with each other during the conference.

Practical information about the conference
Location: Cluj, Romania
Date: 12 – 14 June 2024
Costs: € 335 pp (double room) or € 435 pp (single room). This is a total package of conference + 4 nights stay in a hotel + all meals. Conference and accommodation is at the same location.
